Required Documentation for Rental
To rent a vehicle or scooter, the following documents are required:
Valid driving license
Passport or national ID
Mobile phone number and email address
Credit card in the driver’s name
Insurances
For full details on available insurance packages, see the Car Insurance Options and Scooter Insurance Options sections below. All insurance prices may vary by season but are clearly displayed at booking. A €25 + 24% VAT administration fee applies for all incidents. A valid credit or debit card in the driver’s name is required for all Full Damage Waiver (FDW) and Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) plans.
Insurance becomes invalid in the following cases:
The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
The vehicle or scooter is used off-road or on unpaved terrain
An unauthorized person is driving
The incident is not immediately reported to the police and Easy Car Corfu
Car Insurance Options
Basic Insurance – CDW (Collision Damage Waiver)
Included with all rentals. Covers third-party liability but the renter remains financially responsible for:
Undercarriage, mechanical components, tires, wheels, damages from traffic violations, lost or damaged keys.
Excess by vehicle category:
Group A, B: €500
Group C, D, E1, F: €700
Group E2, J7, J9: €1200
Gold Insurance – FDW (Full Damage Waiver)
Reduces liability in case of damage. Still does not cover undercarriage, mechanical parts, glass, mirrors, tires, lost or damaged keys.
Excess & Deposit by vehicle group:
Group A & B (2016–2023) – Age 22–69: Excess €120, Deposit €0
Group C (2016–2023): Excess €120, Deposit €0
Groups C1, D, E1 (2021–2023): Excess €250, Deposit €250
Groups E2, J7, J9 (2018–2023): Excess €700, Deposit €700
Platinum Insurance – SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver)
Zero excess for covered damages. Still does not cover undercarriage, mechanical parts, lost keys, or damages due to negligence or traffic violations.
Not available to drivers under 26 or over 69. Requires valid credit card (no American Express).
Scooter Insurance Options
CDW – Collision Damage Waiver (Included)
Covers third-party liability. Requires deposit.
Does not cover undercarriage, tires, rims, glass, mirrors, mechanical parts, lost or damaged keys.
Excess by scooter category:
50cc–125cc: €700
200cc: €900
300cc: €1100
FDW – Full Damage Waiver (Gold Insurance)
Optional upgrade. Reduces excess and does not require deposit.
Requires valid credit/debit card. Same exclusions as CDW apply.

200cc: €300
300cc: €450
Age Restrictions & Insurance Requirements (Cars)
Drivers 19–21 (Group A Economy only)
Must purchase FDW. Excess €250. Deposit: €250 (card) or €350 (cash). Valid license for at least 1 year.
Drivers 22–25 (Groups A & B)
Must purchase FDW. Excess €250. Deposit: €250 (card) or €350 (cash).
Drivers 22–25 (Groups C1 & D – 2022 models)
Must purchase FDW. Excess €450. Deposit: €450 (card) or €550 (cash).
Age & License Requirements (Scooters)
SYM 50cc Scooters (2023–2024)
Allowed Age Range: 22–68. Minimum Age: 19 (with FDW and special conditions).
Accepted Licenses: B, AM, A1, A2, A
SYM 125cc Scooters (2023–2024)
Allowed Age Range: 25–68. Minimum Age: 22
Accepted Licenses: A1, A2, A
SYM 200cc Scooter – SYMPHONY 200i ABS (2024)
Minimum Age: 26
Accepted Licenses: A2, A
SYM 300cc Scooter – JOYRIDE 300i ABS (2024)
Minimum Age: 27
Accepted Licenses: A2, A
Young Scooter Driver Conditions (Ages 19–25)
Ages 19–22 (50cc only)
FDW is mandatory. Excess €250. Guarantee: €250 (card) or €500 (cash). Admin fee €25 + VAT. License required for at least 1 year.
Ages 23–25 (125cc only)
Same terms as above. Rental not permitted without FDW.
Note: All young drivers must comply with these terms. Applies to both main and additional drivers.
Deposit Requirements for Scooter Rentals (Ages 19–25 or No Card)
SYM 50cc / 125cc: €500 deposit + €25 admin fee + VAT
SYM 200cc: €600 deposit + €25 admin fee + VAT
SYM 300cc: €700 deposit + €25 admin fee + VAT
Even with FDW, these guarantees apply if no credit card is available.
Drivers Over 26 – Scooter Rentals
Drivers over 26 may rent without insurance, but must leave a €700 guarantee. Admin fee of €25 + VAT applies.
Vehicle Use – Cars & Scooters
Only drivers listed in the contract may operate the vehicle.
Prohibited use includes off-road driving, racing, tricks, or transporting the vehicle off Corfu without permission.
All mechanical issues must be reported immediately to Easy Car Corfu.
Return the vehicle in the same condition and fuel level as received.
Payment Methods
Online payment via Viva Wallet: 10% discount
Cash upon arrival: 5% discount
Credit card upon arrival: no discount
Extra Fees
Traffic Violations & Fines
Renters are fully responsible for all traffic and parking fines. Unpaid fines will be charged plus a €20 administration fee.
Scooters must always be locked when left unattended.
In Case of Accident
Notify both the Traffic Police and Easy Car Corfu immediately.
Failure to report an accident may void all insurance coverage.

Contact insurance and police
Submit police report
Complete and sign accident form on return
Administration Fees: All damage/accident reports are subject to a €25 admin fee plus 24% VAT.
Interior Damages (Cars): Insurance does not cover damage to upholstery, dashboard, stereo, keys, mirrors, wheel covers, antennas, or excessive dirt. Interior cleaning fee: €70 + VAT
Undercarriage & Related Damages: Any damage to undercarriage, wheels, tires, mechanical parts, or glass is never covered by any insurance. The renter is fully responsible.
Delays & Refunds: Delays over 2 hours result in an additional rental day charge. No refunds are issued after the rental agreement is signed.
Extra Services
Baby & Child Seats
Available upon request based on age and weight:
Baby seat (0–1 year, 0–18 kg)
Child seat (1–3 years, 9–36 kg)
Booster seat (4+ years, 15–36 kg)
Please request in advance to ensure availability.
Roadside Assistance: 24/7 roadside assistance is included with all rentals.
Cross-Border & Ferry Restrictions: No vehicle may be transported by ferry or taken outside Greek borders without prior written approval.
Taxes: All rates are subject to 24% VAT added to the final amount.
Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as delivered. Fuel is the renter’s responsibility.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup: free of charge
Cancellations less than 48 hours before pickup: full rental amount charged
No refunds for no-shows or late cancellations
Business Declaration
Easy Car Corfu declares:
“With full respect for consumer rights, by signing the rental contract, the lessee also accepts the declaration of compliance with the Consumer’s Code of Conduct.”
Due to past incidents, Easy Car Corfu emphasizes that concealing damages, disputing charges without cause, submitting false reviews, or encouraging fraud are considered serious offenses. We reserve the right to take legal action against any actions that damage our business reputation or operations.
